How to teach Traditional Ecological Knowledge as a knowledge system with its own methods and standing — so it sits in the curriculum as science rather than as culture bolted on beside it. Built for boards and colleges, from course design at Niagara College and four years consulting to the Niagara school boards.
Indigenous climate leadership
Climate work that starts from Indigenous knowledge rather than adding it at the end. What changes when land-based science leads the response, and why the answer to how Indigenous people can help is: let us lead, and then actually listen. Grounded in the La Via Campesina Climate Action Committee, a COP28 delegation, and Indigenous Climate Leadership certification.

For unions, NGOs, universities and funders working alongside Indigenous communities: what consent actually requires, where consultation quietly substitutes for it, and how to build protocols that flush out power before the grant is written.
Which treaty is your farm on?
A working session that takes a room from land acknowledgement to the actual agreement — its name, its number, what the Crown promised, and whether it was kept. Delivered for EFAO members and adaptable to any group on treaty land.

Ga Gitigemi Gamik is one of forty farms filmed for Depth of Field: Films About Farming, made by the National Farmers Union with March Forth Creative and funded federally through Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s AgriCommunication Program.
The series screened at close to forty community events across Canada — cinemas, universities, libraries, farmers’ markets and Seedy Saturdays, including the Fox Theatre in Toronto, The Screening Room in Kingston and the Aron Theatre Co-op in Campbellford. It is now distributed to schools and colleges as a teaching resource through Magic Lantern Media.
For a board or a department that is a useful shortcut: show the film first, and the session starts from a room that already has context.
